This Kids Care Peacemaker lesson focuses on being a good neighbour. We meet Naomie from the Democratic Republic of Congo who joined the Peace Club and helped promote peace among her schoolmates. Revisiting the Good Samaritan story, we will learn what it means to empathize with people who are different from us and to live peacefully together. 

This year’s Kids Care – Peacemakers – is a five-lesson children’s resource on what it means to be peacemakers from a biblical perspective. Kids will explore forgiveness, praying for people who have been hurtful, refusing retaliation, and how to help resolve conflicts peacefully. Peacemakers trust God to bring justice, following Jesus’ way of sacrificial love. The curriculum includes fun activities, crafts and games, Bible lessons, stories and fundraising suggestions that will encourage your children’s group to be God’s peacemakers, expand their notion of community in the world, and be moved to action.
