Lord, who is in Heaven. Blessed be your name! Exalted are you! Thank you for being our Comforter in times of pain and tribulation.

Our God, today we want to express to you what is in our hearts. You who know everything, you know the things that worry us and make us happy, the things that hurt us and those that bring hope to our lives.

We beg you to protect us from any attack by the enemy, to help us to overcome our own sins. We acknowledge our weakness, but we know that you strengthen us.

We ask for protection against COVID-19 and for healing, strength and provision for those who are affected by it. Father, so many people have died, so many people crying for their loved ones who are no longer in this world. Please be their Comforter and may your love fill that void they feel.

We ask you to give us wisdom to support our partners in Bolivia. Give us strength to continue caring for the children and families of each one of the projects.

Please Father, give abundant strength to those who are in charge of each project, now that many activities are being resumed. It is clear how the effects of this pandemic remain and continue to impact the most vulnerable.

Abba, I ask you for my family, oh dear God, these are difficult times for us, the death of my father hurts us a lot. Father, oh Father, may your comfort sustain us.

I also pray for the work that CBM is doing around the world. May you bless the work of each one of them. In these times of COVID, we have seen with joy how the Canadian church has shown so much generosity for your ministry through CBM. Thank you for each person who makes up your body and heeds your call to act with love and generosity.

Once again, thank you for always listening. Thank you for being a strong tower and help and comforter.

We pray all this in the name of our beloved Saviour Jesus, and in his merits. Amen.
