In addition, the first initiatives have recently been launched to create Christian events for the young adults and adults of the 2nd generation. On September 9, Philipp will attend a meeting with other missionaries to discuss these changes.

    • A requirement for pastors to have university degrees

    • A requirement for churches to run socio-economic programs in their communities

In July 2024, nearly 9,800 churches were closed. They have until March 2026 to comply with the new rules, but many lack the financial and practical resources to meet these demands. Even after compliance, there is no guarantee they will be allowed to reopen.
