Europe
- Fellowships from Göttingen, Kassel, and Marburg will gather for a joint retreat, with support from the Markham Chinese Baptist Church short-term mission team (serving through June 16). Pray for a Spirit-filled time of renewal, deep fellowship, and smooth logistics. May the camp be a catalyst for spiritual growth and unity among believers.
North America
- Pray for the church’s representatives and leaders as they gather for the CBOQ Assembly June 5 – 7. Pray for harmony, unity and wisdom, and for a fruitful time of learning together, and a blessed time of fellowship.
MENA
- Please pray for a fruitful outcome of the training that was completed last month in Egypt and Tunisia in partnership with ABTS, and pray for the upcoming training this month in Tunisia.
Latin America and Caribbean
- Pray for Tim, Kallie, and Malena Hutton, who are in Canada for their Home Assignment for the next two months. May this be a time of good connections and meetings with Churches and family.
Africa
- Please continue to pray for peace and stability in the region, especially in the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan. These countries face ongoing challenges due to conflict, political instability, and humanitarian crises. Pray for an end to violence, for wise and just leadership, and for the protection of vulnerable communities. Ask God to strengthen local churches and partners as they serve those affected, offering hope, care, and the message of reconciliation.
Asia
- Please pray for the earthquake relief follow-up trip of our partner in Myanmar. Pray that the recovery efforts will continue smoothly and that further needs can be identified and addressed effectively. May God guide and strengthen our partner as they support the affected communities.
Europe
- Since March, a missionary working with Xiaodan and Philipp in Marburg has been hosting a weekly German Bible reading group at her home with two to three non-believing Chinese women. They read passages from the Bible and improve their German in the process. Pray that beyond language learning, deep conversations and interest about faith will emerge.
North America
- Pray for the National Active in Mission initiative, which will help Canadian Baptists get active and raise awareness about food security in Canada and around the world through CBM’s partners. We’ve set a goal of raising $100,000- half of which will stay in Canada and half of which will go toward global programming.
MENA
- Please pray for our partners in Sudan. The humanitarian situation has only worsened as war rages on. Famine has been declared in multiple locations, and food insecurity is expected to double over the next few months. Please pray for wisdom and provision as local churches seek to meet needs despite insecurity and logistical challenges.
Latin America and Caribbean
- Pray for the preparations for IBAREDO’s annual camp and their youth adults conference taking place this summer in the Dominican Republic.
Africa
- Please join us in praying for the leadership of our partner churches in Africa. Lift up the pastors, elders, and leaders who are faithfully serving their communities, guiding them through both challenges and triumphs. Pray for wisdom, strength, and discernment as they navigate the needs of their congregations and the broader community, especially during times of hardship or uncertainty.
Asia
- Please pray for strength and wisdom for the students and teachers at TBTI as they begin a new academic year. Pray especially that the 21 new students may adapt well to campus life and be equipped for future ministry.

- Some students will be returning home during the summer to visit family. Pray that God would grant them wisdom, grace, and love to reconnect meaningfully with loved ones, and that their testimonies would reflect Christ in their homes.
- Please pray for the spiritual lives of our brothers and sisters in the church in Kassel. Pray that the Lord would lead them to be willing to be renewed and used by Him.
North America
- A SENT team from New Minas Baptist Church will travel to Rwanda and will be hosted by African Team Leader Andre Sibomana and Regional Representative Chris Johnston. Pray that this will be a fruitful time for both the team and our partner. (June 16-30)
- A SENT team from Grace Memorial Baptist will travel to the DR to serve alongside Kathryn Scott and CBM partner IBAREDO. (June 20-30)
MENA
- Please pray for the upcoming healing gathering for three pastors who recently lost their brothers in the Egyptian Baptist Convention. Ask the Lord to bring deep comfort, healing, and recovery. Pray also for their churches and families as they walk through this season of grief.
Latin America and Caribbean
- Pray for Byron’s visits with partners in Latin America to support their planning for 2026.
Africa
Please pray for the church in Rwanda as they work to meet the requirements of a new government law regulating faith-based organizations. This law includes:
- A requirement for pastors to have university degrees
- Strict standards for church buildings
- A mandatory re-registration process
- A requirement for churches to run socio-economic programs in their communities
In July 2024, nearly 9,800 churches were closed. They have until March 2026 to comply with the new rules, but many lack the financial and practical resources to meet these demands. Even after compliance, there is no guarantee they will be allowed to reopen.
Pray for wisdom, provision, and perseverance for church leaders and congregations during this challenging time.
Asia
Join us in Prayer for the Samaritan Home project in Nagaland, India.
- Pray that the 10 girls currently enrolled may be equipped for all-around holistic development as the program continues through the year.
- Pray for our staff, including the tailoring instructor, assistant tailoring instructor, and resources person who are responsible for teaching students in cutting, tailoring, and other trainings.
- Please uphold the Women Secretary, Women Promoter, Co-ordinator, Warden and their family members. Pray for good health, wisdom, discernment, patience, strength and courage.
- Pray for the Samaritan Home board convenor and board members as they continue to invest their lives in the growth of the ministry.
- Pray for the Samaritan Home as they celebrate their 25th Silver Jubilee, which is on June 18th, 2025.
Europe
- Please pray for the student Bible study group at the church in Kassel. Thank the Lord that we have reached out to several students who are interested in coming to Bible study to recognize this faith. However, the group is not yet stable in terms of personnel and needs a core group of long-term, stable members. Pray that the Lord would lead and use this Bible study group to edify believers and catechize friends.
North America
- Pray for the SENT team from Lethbridge as they travel to Latin America to continue to build relationships with CBM’s partner, FIBAC. (June 21-28)
MENA
- Please pray for the situation in Lebanon. There is cautious optimism that the political and economic situation will continue to improve despite the continuing volatility in the region.
Latin America and Caribbean
- Pray for Bill and Janice at the various weekly meetings with church leaders who are part of the Pastoring of Pastors mentorship group in Latin America.
Africa
- Pray for safety and good health for the Africa team as they travel in different communities.
Asia
- Please pray for the new school year in Thailand. Pray for the children at the Morning Light Center to have a good start in their studies. May they grow in knowledge, motivation, and good health—both physically and spiritually.
- Our partner in Southeast Asia, Harvest Ministries, is travelling to minister to a group of pastors in a leadership training program. Please pray that he can help them grow with his experience in ministry.

- We give thanks that Caleb Lam (Lewis & Felain) has completed his undergraduate studies! Pray that the Lord would continue to direct his steps as he enters the next season of life. May he walk closely with God and shine as His light in the workplace.
- Xiaodan started a faith course with a Chinese woman who is interested in faith but has many doubts and questions. Please pray that God grants her faith. The woman spends a lot of time looking after her sister, who lives reclusively in a nearby town. Pray that her sister becomes open to meeting with us more often and joins the course more frequently.
North America
- Please pray for our churches in Western Canada as they consider engaging in mission locally and globally. May they be reminded that the Lord is with them as they reach out to those who need help.
MENA
- Pray for Thimar and ABTS, CBM partners in Lebanon, as they continue to serve holistically in Lebanon and the region.
Latin America and Caribbean
- Pray for the new members of the OBADES Board of Directors, that God will pour out wisdom to support the ministry in Bolivia.
Africa
- Pray for wisdom and strength for the team as they navigate the challenges posed by war and political tensions, which threaten both their work and personal lives. May they find peace, protection, and guidance amid uncertainty.
Asia
Join us in Prayer for our partner Miqlat Ministries in Nagaland, India.
- Continue to pray for the ongoing Cafe building construction. Pray for the release of timely resources, ideas, creativity, workmanship and timely delivery of the equipment.
- Pray for the leadership team for wisdom, health, courage, and discernment as we continue to face spiritual battles each day.
- Pray that the women in the Shelter Home will experience deliverance.
- We praise God for a successful baking class and basket weaving training, and pray for continued success as the programs continue in June.
