- Join us in praying for the southern region of Lebanon where the war continues to escalate. While the news might cause anyone to be fearful, anxious, and uncertain, we trust in God’s sovereignty. Pray for those who are displaced and hurt. Pray for the church to live out its calling during this time and be ready to witness through word and deed.
Latin America and Caribbean
- Pray for resilience among farming communities as they face the effects of climate change. The seasons are unstable, new kinds of pests are emerging, and the cost of inputs is very high.
Africa
- Pray for the political stability of Kenya. There are weekly protests that destabilize the country’s peace and economy.
Asia
- Please pray for Chuchyimlang Baptist Church in Nagaland, India as they work alongside the village council to establish a sports academy in 3 years. The Academy intends to provide overall development for kids and address the problem of unemployment among the youth. Excelling in sports creates opportunities to join better schools/colleges through sports quotas, opens sports as a career from state to national to international, and provides wider opportunities for job prospects.
Europe
- Please pray for the Joint Dedication Group that started meeting in June. This group includes 12 members from Göttingen and Marburg. Pray that our field staff can offer guidance to these believers as they discern a commitment to God’s calling to become pastors or missionaries. Pray that God will reveal His will and plan to these chosen workers, granting them clarity and conviction in their spiritual journey.
Africa
- Pray for the team as they launch the Partner Staff Capacity Building Training, involving 30 people from six countries. Pray for wisdom, unity, and effective training.
Europe
- Pray for the student ministry in Europe, and the ‘Welcoming New Students’ event happening this month in Germany. Ask for God’s blessing on the efforts to evangelize and connect with newly arrived students.
MENA
- Pray for an end to hostilities in Lebanon, where the conflict has escalated in recent weeks. Pray for protection and support for displaced families and for CBM’s partners serving them.
Latin America and Caribbean
- Pray for Bill and Janice Dyck as they attend the pastor’s retreat in Cuba (Oct 14-22). Pray for logistical needs like food, fuel, and electricity, as well as for the retreat’s focus on discipleship and mentorship.
Asia
- Pray for Ella T. and her ministry as she travels to visit theological students. Pray for safety, protection, and the successful completion of her work with these students.
North America
- Pray for church leaders attending the Made to Flourish Church Practicum in Halifax (Oct 10-13). Ask that their time together will deepen relationships and help them serve their congregations in new ways.

- Pray for partner churches in Africa facing leadership struggles. Ask for wisdom and guidance as they work through governance challenges.
Europe
- Pray for Ming Gao and Yuanchuan Ye’s family, who have been battling illness for two months. Pray for healing and that their ministry, particularly visitation, can resume fully.
MENA
- Pray for CBM’s partners in Egypt working with students in education centers. Pray that these students grow in wisdom and understanding, excel in their studies, and deepen their relationship with God.
Latin America and Caribbean
- Pray for Kathleen and Bruno Soucy as they conclude their time in Canada this month, speaking in churches and attending CBM’s board meetings. Pray that their ministry would encourage others.
Asia
- Pray for the relief efforts in Chiang Rai and Mae Sai, Thailand, where floods have caused significant damage. Our Partner Jireh Church, along with the assistance of Lilian and Joseph, are in the process of providing relief in the form of food provisions and daily necessities. Pray for safety and recovery for those affected.
North America
- Pray for churches in the CBOQ region hiring new pastors. May God raise up leaders with a heart for ministry and service to their communities.
Africa
- Pray for peace and security in Africa’s regions facing conflict. Ask God to bring healing where there is unrest.
Europe
- Pray for Ming Gao and Yuanchuan Ye’s church, as they transition the youth into their own ministry group. Pray for wisdom in planning and teaching.
MENA
- Pray for CBM’s partners in Sudan, where conflict continues. Pray for opportunities to support and strengthen the church as they serve in these difficult circumstances.
Latin America and Caribbean
- Pray for CBM’s partners in the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Bolivia as they work to be the church in their communities.
Asia
- Pray for the Partners Capacity Building and Networking Exposure Workshop in Odisha, India (Oct 26-31). Pray for safe travels and fruitful interactions among the 11 leaders attending.
North America
- Pray for the upcoming alumni celebrations in Kamloops and Calgary in early November. May they be a time of reflection and thanksgiving for God’s faithfulness over the years.

- Pray for the church in Rwanda, where government regulations have led to the closure of many church buildings. Pray for the church to persevere and continue ministry.
Europe
- Pray for Xiaodan and Philipp in Marburg, as they continue to evangelize and disciple new students after the Chinese Moon Festival. Pray for deepening relationships and fruitful ministry.
MENA
- Pray for peace and for CBM’s partners in Lebanon serving displaced families amidst escalating conflict. Pray for continued resources and safety.
Latin America and Caribbean
- Praise God for Latin American leaders who attended the Lausanne Conference. We celebrate that the continent now sends more cross-cultural workers than it receives.
Asia
- Pray for those affected by floods in Myanmar and Thailand. After continued heavy rain caused by the typhoon, large areas have been affected by flooding and landslides in both countries. Pray that people will be resilient in dealing with this disaster, and for the safety of those suffering from the flood, as well as those trying to help.
- After the water recedes, many will need to cope with damaged homes and lost property, and some have even lost loved ones. Pray that God’s comfort and strength will be with those facing this trauma.
North America
- Pray for the three Kenyan partners from ACC&S as they participate in the alumni celebrations in Canada. May this be a time of encouragement and fellowship.
