CBM Africa – Gisenyi Initiative

After participating in the Africa Leadership Exchange, four of CBM’s partners in East Africa, along with CBM, signed the Gisenyi Covenant together. These partners are: FEBAC, AEBR, ACC&S and CBCA. Part of this covenant expressed the desire to encourage more multilateral collaboration and wherever possible encourage South-to-South-mutual learning. The Gisenyi Project is one way of doing that. It is a collaborative project between all of the Gisenyi partners in which each partner contributes to the budget and agrees to host and arrange an event that would involve one or more other partners. 2024 will mark the celebration of 5 years for this initiative.
