This project focuses on caring for orphaned and vulnerable children in the conflict affect areas of Butembo and Beni. Project activities include paying school fees for 100 vulnerable kids, providing safe, child-friendly spaces for trauma counselling, games, physcosocial support and distribution of snacks. Case workers and counsellors will be provided with refresher training in this second year of the project and a data base to track the care provided and the needs of participating children will be continually updated.
