This project funds vocational training for youth in impoverished communities. Many youth have dropped out of school, struggle with addiction and become trapped in the cycle of poverty. This program aims to address this problem by offering youth the opportunity to participate in vocational training so that they can become employed or start their own business. This project will support 40 youth each year to participate in job skills training in the areas of beautican, tailoring, computer skills, baking and aluminum fabrication. Local churches support this project by providing housing for youth while they are undergoing their training and encouraging them in their training and starting small businesses. Local churches also help to identify the youth who participate in this project.
