Philippines – Education and Formation for Children and…

KPM serves in five poor and depressed communities in Capiz province, Philippines. In these communities, there is a lack of access to quality early childhood education (pre-school). In addition, many young people struggle to attend college or university due to financial constraints of their families and the need to work on their family’s farm to help support the needs of the family. This project operates childcare centre (pre-school) in these five communities in partnership with the local churches in each community. The childcare centres focus on learning, playing and feeding. The project also provides financial assistance to help youth start and/or complete a college degree and find a good job, as well as provide support for their spiritual (discipleship) and leadership formation.
