The Jyothi Story
In this “Kids Care Welcome to My Neighbourhood in India” lesson, children will be introduced to a courageous group of women in India and learn how they helped give their community hope after the tsunami tragedy. They will also learn about Esther as a biblical example of courage.

Welcome to my Neighbourhood in India
Join us as we travel to India for a five-day adventure called Welcome to My Neighbourhood. We’ll see what life is like for Grandma Pochamma, Choti, Nagaraju and the Jyothi women, who face some big obstacles – poverty, child labour, living with HIV. We’ll learn how they are overcoming those obstacles with God’s help and your help through CBM’s relief and community development work.
