Evangeline Hammond serves as Field Staff with CBM’s MENA team supporting regional partners in Lebanon with relief, education, and development projects. She previously worked in Lebanon with the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) in 2019 supporting their humanitarian aid and peace building projects. From 2020 to 2023 she served as Program Manager at Gull Lake Centre in Alberta, where she oversaw child and youth ministries. Prior to this she worked in community development initiatives and higher education.
She has a Master’s in Education and certifications in community economic development and trauma-informed care. Married to Khalil, a Lebanese pastor, she is involved in the local church supporting children’s ministries, church-based education centers, and summer camps.
Evangeline loves exploring Lebanon’s natural beauty through rock climbing, hiking, and paddleboarding. She is also a self-proclaimed film buff.
