Greetings from Rwanda!
Dear Brothers and Sisters, Partners in Mission. I greet you in the Name of our Lord Jesus. Receive, also the greetings of my family and colleagues from the field.
As we move through this season, we are continually amazed at how God is working in and through the people, were your prayers, finances, encouragements, and support make it all possible and we are so grateful for your partnership in mission
Over the last six months, our Ministry of Peace and Reconciliation focused on training towards Peace training found in the twelve modules.
Women in CEBCE were trained- Follow up to CBCA’s youth and Sunday School leaders who were trained last year on Peace modules, in their activities of mobilizing and teaching Peace to their respective ecclesiastics’ districts.
- Reflection and making strategies to work with some leaders who are in conflict in one of our partners.
- Young single mother’s being trained on human right awareness.
- Women leaders from CBCE in Peace building training.
- Sunday school crusade on peace building.
PRAISE REPORTS AND PRAYER REQUEST
- The Ministry brings joy in the sense that those who were trained have become trainers of others in their respective areas of leadership
- Seeing the way youth and children are engaged in mobilizing their churches and villages in building peace
- There is hope that this young generation will grow in this culture of peace
My prayer is that:
- God would continue to strengthen the ministry of peace among youth and children in the region
- The Eastern Congo recovers peace for the good of the citizen of the region
- The Church in the region and in the world would become really the catalyst of peace through believers who had receive the prince of peace (Jesus)
Concluding Thoughts
As we look ahead, nothing could happen without your faithful partnership,
And this has been remarked on through your prayer, financial support and encouragement. We are collaborators on this Mission.
Thank you for standing with us.
May God continue to bless you in whatever you do for his glory
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen.
