November 2025
Greetings,
As followers of Christ, we are called to seek shalom – the wholeness and peace that come from restored relationships with God, with one another, and with creation. This peace is deeper than the absence of conflict; it is the presence of God’s reconciling love at work in the world.
At CBM, we see glimpses of this shalom through the faithful work of our global partners who are bringing healing and restoration to communities impacted by grief, loss, and displacement. Their efforts remind us that peace begins in relationships – built, nurtured, and renewed by God’s grace.
This November, as we pause to remember those who have given their lives in pursuit of peace, may we also look forward with prayerful hope. Let us reflect on where we have been, and where God is calling us to go as peacemakers in our time.
CBM’s Peace and Reconciliation Specialist, Gato Munyamasoko, offers a prayer for peace in Rwanda and the DRC in our Seasons of Prayer resource. We invite you to join us in lifting these communities before God.
