Prayer
- Praise God that His mercies never cease. Each day brings hope through his transforming power. We give thanks to him for the work that continues in all the places where we are privileged to serve together around the world. Despite the ongoing frustrations of this time, we are thankful for God’s presence and his promise to never leave us, even in our hardest times.
- Please continue to pray for our Field Staff and global church partners who are faithfully persevering in the midst of this crisis. Ask that they would continue to experience for their protection and strength when they feel depleted. Ask God to give them strength, physically, emotionally and spiritually, as they minister on the front lines to those in need of care.
- Thirdly, please uphold the most vulnerable in our world who have been most impacted by this crisis. The impacts of this pandemic will be felt for years to come, particularly for those in the bottom billion. Pray that our compassionate and generous response as Canadian Baptists will help bring some respite to those suffering. Pray also that we would commit ourselves to working toward long-term recovery for those who need assistance, and not forget about the world’s vulnerable.
