Pray with the Kwoks

Dear friends, I’m Conrad Kwok and I’m Fiona Kwok

We’re the team leaders of the Chinese Ministries Team of CBM. We oversee the work in Germany, the Golden Triangle and East Asia. On behalf of our team and CBM, we would like to thank you for your ongoing prayers and support through our partnership.

As we are praying today, we would like to remember those countries and individuals who are suffering from food insecurity, political unrest, COVID, and high inflation. May God’s helping hands and love through His children reach out to them. May CBM continue to be a blessing to this broken world through our word and deed.

Please also pray for the work of our Chinese Ministries Team. May God continue to use our ministries and staff, so we may fulfill His work in a way that is pleasing to Him.

Below, you will find some prayer items that you can use to guide your prayers this week.

May God bless you as you serve Him in this week ahead.  Thank you.

Prayer Points:

Please pray:

  • Pray for our field staff in Germany, as they are preparing to welcome new students in the fall. May God grant them wisdom as they are planning for all the events.
  • Pray for our field staff in the Golden Triangle, as the border between Thailand and Myanmar is still closed. Pray for wisdom as they navigate ministry activities, especially in Myanmar.
  • Pray for our partner Thailand Bethel Theological Institute. This year they have 17 new students. The classes are still hybrid because the border between Thailand and Myanmar is still closed. Pray that God will give online students perseverance and smooth internet connections during classes.
  • Pray for our partner Operation Dawn, our Gospel-based drug rehabilitation ministry. May God continue to use this organization to save the lives of those dealing with addiction.
  • Please continue to pray for peace in Myanmar. Even though we don’t hear much on the news nowadays, we know the situation is still very difficult, as the nation grapples with political unrest, COVID-19, and inflation.
  • Pray for our field staff in Hong Kong, grant her good health and wisdom as she navigates the work in East Asia.
