Pray with Polisi Kivava

Hello friends, I am Polisi Kivava Baudouin. I am based in Goma, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where I serve as National Field Staff. In my role, I am in charge of relief and development work among CBM’s partners in Africa.

Thank you for your faithful prayers and support. Let me share a few prayer requests with you.

Prayer Points:

Please pray:

  • First, I would like to give thanks for my health. I was sick for some time but after one month of treatment, I am feeling much better.
  • Following the war in the East of the DRC, there is rising tension between Congo and Rwanda. Both countries are accusing the other of supporting rebel groups. The tensions are so high that some of us are not able to reach our places of work. Please pray for sustainable peace between the two countries.
  • Pray also for the new projects we have just launched in South Sudan and DRC. Pray that they are not disrupted by conflict and insecurity in the neighbourhood.
  • Some partners are going through leadership changes. FEBAC has just elected its leaders and CBCA is in the process of electing new leaders at the end of this month. Even ACC&S will be holding elections before the end of this year. Please pray that the Holy Spirit may help to elect leaders according to the will of God.
