Prayer
Dear Lord,
I want to start giving thanks for who you are. Thank you for your love, for your mercy and your grace. Thank you God for being our good shepherd and for providing us with everything we need.
Thank you Father that we can come and approach your throne of grace and find help. I want to thank you for the churches we serve in Central America. I pray for the pastors, their families and leaders who have been heroes in their communities serving people in times of COVID. We ask for your protection for each one of them.
Lord, I specifically pray for a group of Baptist pastors in Guatemala that CBM supports. We pray for their families and their churches so that God continues to protect them and bless their ministries in their local communities.
We also pray for CBM and all the work that it does not only in Latin America, but in different countries and with the different partners we have. We ask for your guidance in walking alongside each partner.
Father thank you for allowing me to join the CBM team, and I ask that you use my talents and gifts to be able to serve our partner churches in Central America.
As the prophet Jeremiah says, we know that you have good plans for our lives while we work to establish your kingdom in the world.
In the name of Jesus, I pray, amen.
