What is Solidarity Sunday?
Solidarity Sunday is a special day set aside for Canadian Baptist churches to stand along local churches all over the world who serve their communities as the hands and feet of Jesus. This day provides an opportunity for us to reflect on the ways in which we can be partners in God’s mission to bring peace and reconciliation, not only in our local communities but also globally.
What is this year’s theme?
For 2025, the theme is “Partners in Peacemaking” based on John 14:25-27.

Kids Care Lessons – Peacemakers
A five-lesson children’s resource on what it means to be peacemakers from a biblical perspective. Kids will explore forgiveness, praying for people who have been hurtful, refusing retaliation, and how to help resolve conflicts peacefully. Peacemakers trust God to bring justice, following Jesus’ way of sacrificial love. The curriculum includes fun activities, crafts and games, Bible lessons, stories and fundraising suggestions that will encourage your children’s group to be God’s peacemakers, expand their notion of community in the world, and be moved to action.
