Greetings from Guatemala. While we live in and do much of our work from our home in Guatemala, we responsibilities extend to support initiatives with 10 partners in 5 countries, cultivate and deepen relationships between Southern and Canadian churches...
The beginning of this year has been, as the saying goes, “full steam ahead". Our partners in all five countries have been diligently planning the work they will do in the different communities they serve. There has been a lot to do, but it is good that to date 99% have already started running these programs in February.

This year started in a very different way. As a family we were getting ready to celebrate the first Christmas and New Year without my dad. My dad's absence has been felt so hard over the past year.

Hello friends, we’re Tim and Kallie Hutton, Global field staff with CBM in Bolivia. As we minister alongside our Bolivian partners, we are so grateful for our Canadian partners. Your prayers have supported and encouraged us through all of our ups and downs.
Sometimes we use the phrase “Hindsight is 20/20” for things that we think could have been better if we had only known ahead of time what was to come. I’ll use “Hindsight is 20/22” as a way of looking back on the year, recalling how things have been better than expected, because of God’s hand in events.
So far 2023 has offered us a warm welcome. As summer vacation in Bolivia comes to an end, ministry is starting up. Though it seems that for us, life rarely slows down; our last season was filled with activity.
