CP Raju

CP has served with CBM in India since 2012. As Senior Program Coordinator, CP helps the community development team work towards integral mission. His key responsibilities include operations management, budgeting, personnel deployment, and project monitoring and reporting. Before commencing his service with CBM, CP was the community project officer at a hospital first started by Canadian Baptist missionaries. He later joined another CBM hospital in Serango, where he worked for 20 years as an administrative officer and community development project manager. CP was born into a Christian family in India, and his father was a pastor. He is actively involved in church and youth activities in the states of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. He is a singer, as well as founder and honorary editor of a monthly Christian magazine. CP is married to Jane Swarna who works as an assistant professor at an Engineering College. They have two grown children, Rajedidiah and Shruti Jessica.

Greetings to you all in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

My name is C P Raju and I serve as the Senior Program Coordinator for CBM in India.

I am very grateful to God for His protection and guidance during difficult situations. I am also thankful to you all for your prayers and support as we work together with our local partners to bring life transformation to communities in India.  I am thankful to witness the impact our work is having and the way it is benefitting and uplifting women, children and the poor and marginalized.

Prayer Points:

Please pray:

  • For all our partners in India as they continue to bring hope to their communities through word & deed.
  • Please pray for the upcoming workshops that are going to be held this month in Dimapur on Integral Mission and Kakinada on modern trends in Theology. Pray that they will be a benefit to those attending.
  • Pray that church leaders will be given wisdom and strength as they lead their congregations.
  • Pray For the pastors and evangelists who lost family members due to COVID-19. We pray for comfort and peace as they grieve for their loved ones.
  • Please pray that God will open the door for annual church conferences to take place once again as they have been postponed due to the pandemic.
  • We pray for the people of India, who continue to feel the effects of the pandemic. We pray for healing for those who are suffering from Covid-19 and other ailments.
  • We pray for the youth who lost their jobs and educational opportunities due to Covid-19. We ask that God provide new opportunities for these youth to develop their skills and potential. We pray for clear minds and calm hearts as students write their final exams.
  • Finally, please pray for my continued safety as I visit partners and monitor projects across the country.
