Prayer

Our heavenly Father we come to thy presence with a thankful heart for your grace, protection, and blessings during this difficult time, as we face the second wave of COVID-19 in India. We praise you and adore you Lord for all that you have done in our lives and in our partnering churches in India during this pandemic. Thank you for the assurance you have given to us that you will be always with us, and you will never forsake us.

Let your name be glorified through our lives and we seek your continuous protection and guidance when we share the love of you with others in our daily life. Help us to be compassionate towards the people who are in need and in desperate conditions.

We are praying for the people who are suffering from COVID-19 throughout the world. Lord touch them and heal them and control the spread of the virus. Help us in India, so that a third wave will not occur. We are praying for the people who lost their family members and friends. Give them hope, remove their sorrow and pain, and comfort them. We pray for an opportunity for everybody to be vaccinated and protected from COVID-19.

At this moment we pray for the ministry in India and the world.  We pray for the partners Elim’s Compassion Ministries (ECM), Soura Baptist Christian Mondali Sammeloni (SBCMS), Utakal Baptist Churches Association (UBCA) and Alempang Baptist Church (ABC) who are ministering in rural areas and in difficult situations. Grant them wisdom, protection and grant all their needs. We pray for the churches in Canada. We are thankful for their prayers and financial support – for spreading the Good News and establishing the kingdom of God on this earth.

We are praying for the health workers and emergency staff who are involved in serving the people suffering from Coronavirus, please give them strength, good health, and protection from the virus.

We also pray for the youth whose dreams are scattered and are in depression due to losing their jobs and educational opportunities. Give them hope and faith.

We ask for your continued blessings on all our staff and their families who are working in different countries. Bless them and their families and grant their needs.

We pray for the presence of the Holy Spirit in all that we do and undertake. Whatever difficult situation may arise, let us not fall into temptation and fall wayward from our faithful life. Give us direction so that we can follow you in all our situations.  Finally, we seek your blessings on all our families. We ask all these things in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  Amen.
