Joseph Lee serves as Global Staff in Thailand’s Golden Triangle region where he works to cultivate partnerships with local organizations and activates local churches to engage in Integral Mission. He joined CBM in 2021 assisting local churches, Bible institutes, and mission organizations with projects for the vulnerable in the community. He also teaches and trains future church leaders at the Thailand Bethel Theological Institute and Operation Dawn Discipleship Training Centre.
Joseph received a Diploma of Theology from Thailand Bethel Theological Institute, a Master’s in Pastoral Ministry and a Master of Divinity from Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Missiology.
He and his wife, Lilian Yang, have a daughter, Sophia. Joseph enjoys cooking, photography, playing guitar, and exploring new places in town.
Prayer Requests
- Please pray for the mission workshops that will be conducted in February, March and April at local churches and organizations. These workshops aim to strengthen local mission engagement and encourage practical discussion on mission in the local context. May God bless every participant through the messages and use the workshops to promote the growth of church ministries.
- Please pray for the situations in Thailand and Myanmar. Both countries are facing government transitions and political instability. Pray for peace, stability, and wisdom amid these challenges. May God’s reign be evident over the nations.
- Please pray for theological education and children’s ministries in this region. As March marks a season of graduation and the conclusion of the school year, along with a change in weather from winter to summer, may God protect teachers and students with good health and grant students success in their studies.
- Please pray for Thailand Bethel Theological Institute (TBTI) as it prepares for summer mission trips. TBTI plans to send four teams to different parts of Thailand and Myanmar. I will be leading one team to Myanmar. Please pray for wisdom and safety throughout the trip, and for unity among the team as we share the good news with the people.
