Ministry Update

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

It is with joy that I share the latest ministry updates highlighting how God is at work through marketplace engagement initiatives. These stories reflect both the immediate impact and the seeds of transformation being planted for long-term fruitfulness.

Integral Mission in the workplace training Initiative in Goma and Gisenyi

In March, we successfully trained 85 participants through the CBC Venture Initiative. The training introduced the concept of Integral Mission in the Workplace to pastors, chaplains, elders, and deacons. For most, this was their first exposure to teaching that connects faith with professional life. Participants gained a fresh understanding of how faith can be integrated into professional life, filling a gap in local training.

Workplace Curriculum Manual

I have developed the first draft of the Workplace Ministry Training Manual Booklet, an eight-part Bible study guide for workplace ministers. This resource is intended for use by Integral Mission Trainers of Trainers (TOTs), who will cascade the training to workplace ministers within their congregations. It will be applied in small group settings such as home Bible study cells and departmental fellowships, strengthening outreach and discipleship in workplace ministry.

AEBR (Rwanda) Self Help Groups Enhancement Project

Through the ministry’s continued support, we have sustained coaching and monitoring of the five AEBR self-help groups that received training in marketing strategy, value chain development, and product diversification. These groups are now generating income from their small businesses, reflecting enhanced business skills and growing confidence. Notably, one group has expanded its operations by acquiring two sweater-knitting machines, a clear demonstration of progress in product diversification, sustainability, and economic empowerment.
