Emad and Almess Botros2023-09-18T16:57:20-04:00Greetings from the Land of Cedar to our dear friends and families. We hope you are “flourishing like a palm tree and growing like the cedar of Lebanon.” (Psalm 92:12)
Greetings from the Land of Cedar to our dear friends and families. We hope you are “flourishing like a palm tree and growing like the cedar of Lebanon.” (Psalm 92:12)
This year started in a very different way. As a family we were getting ready to celebrate the first Christmas and New Year without my dad. My dad's absence has been felt so hard over the past year.
Hello Brothers and Sisters in Christ! I pray and hope that you are keeping well and safe, as well as your loved ones. It is a real summer here in Rwanda and I hope it is the same in Canada as well. This is a time of harvesting grains and fruit.
Greetings from Guatemala! We are so thankful for dear friends and supporters who participate in this work. We consider it a great privilege to be in this part of the world, accompanying churches and communities working to build the Kingdom.
Greetings to all our beloved brothers and sisters worldwide! Thank you for your unwavering attention and your prayers for my ministries in the Golden Triangle Region, Thailand. God’s blessings and guidance during the second quarter have truly been remarkable.
Greetings to you all in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Thank you so much for your continued support for the ongoing programs and expansion of the ministries in India. Many people are benefiting through your financial and prayerful support and experiencing the fullness of life.
Sometimes we underestimate our strength and possibilities because we underestimate the Lord. “[T]hey who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” (Isa 40:31)
Sometimes we use the phrase “Hindsight is 20/20” for things that we think could have been better if we had only known ahead of time what was to come. I’ll use “Hindsight is 20/22” as a way of looking back on the year, recalling how things have been better than expected, because of God’s hand in events.
I hope that all is well with you. I and my family are well. I am grateful to God for life, good health, and growth. It has been a year and three months since I started working for CBM and I am amazed by the support and encouragement that I have received from the churches in Canada, all my colleagues, as well as the Africa team leader.
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Your ongoing prayers and financial contributions have meant a lot to us over the last nine years. We are not doing this work alone. Thanks for your partnership and support.
